Course Description

The other lecture, Archaeology I, will deal with methodology of Archaeology and basic Japanese archaeology, while Archaeology II will discuss world archaeology and human history, e.g., origin of agriculture, emergence of cities, or craft specialization. Students will also learn latest topics of archaeology of different areas. Archaeology I and II are independent lectures, but still it is desirable that students should take Archaeology I as well as this lecture.
