Course Description

As the economic and social activities become globalized, Japanese companies are forced to seek new business management. On the other hand, the aging of the population and the progress of the population decrease in Japan are changing the players of corporate human resources dramatically. In this circumstances, human resource management in Japanese companies are changing.
In this class, we first try to understand the contents and backgrounds of new human resource management efforts in Japanese companies. And then we discuss and understand the roles played by companies, workplaces and individuals in human resources management and the influence for companies,
