We will practice basic Japanese conversation needed on campus and in daily life. The focus is on speaking and listening skills, but we will also learn basic Hiragana and Katakana writing and typing skills. Basic Kanji reading will be also covered.The class also considers key ideas to get better understanding of Japanese people and culture. The students will make a final presentation regarding Japanese culture.
1.Practice basic conversation skills in Japanese to be able to express your basic needs in daily life as well as on campus
2.Master Hiragana & Katakana reading, wriging, and typing so that you will able to get a better access to Japanese culture.
Participation to class, homework, small quizzes 50%
Final presentation and exam 50%
