By learning grammar, you can understand how sentences are constructed and how to construct sentences. In this course, you will do some exercises to check your comprehension and to apply grammatical knowledge to your practical reading and listening skills. The exercises will also help to develop vocabulary.
This class is designed to achieve DP1: Students will acquire fundamental knowledge of various areas of study, such as a foreign language, the humanities and social science, to make a positive contribution to a society.
The goal of this course is to improve English proficiency level to be able to use English practically.
Assignments (40%) and a term-end examination (60%).

A comprehensive grammar book will be helpful when students try grammar exercises from the first class to the twelfth in this course. Students should review carefully the contents of the other three classes from the 13th to the 15th.
Basic grammar will be needed to improve English proficiency level and the grammatical rules students will learn will help students to read or listen.
