This seminar is based on text readings, fieldwork, classroom presentations, and discussions. The assignment will be presented to the students each time based on the goal of the class by the professor in charge. Students will gather and organize necessary information concerning tasks presented in advance, prepare resumes, presentations, and discussions. Students will be required to submit a report after the class ends.
This course is related to Educational Goal 3 of General Basic Subjects
Based on Teikyo University's educational philosophy, Life Design Seminar will set the objective of the lesson to acquire the following three abilities necessary for universities and society.
- Social skills: Students can acquire expressive and communication skills to accurately convey their way of thinking to others.
- Self-educational ability: Students can think about their future and acquire the ability to learn systematically with awareness.
- Specialized skills: Students can learn the ability to solve problems using expert knowledge learned in Department of Economics and Department of Regional Economics.
