Course Description

Based on the techniques learned in the process of taking a license as private pilot, training flights (Area maneuvers, basic instrument flight, take-off and landing, autorotation and navigation) will be carried out as an overview of flying subjects to prepare for the commercial pilot practical examination.
This subject is related to the “Diploma policy DP 2, 4 and 5”.

Course Objectives

Students will focus on train area maneuvers, basic instrument flight, various methods of take-off and landing, autorotation and navigation to establish the basis of flying skills in preparation for the commercial pilot practical test.

Grading Policy

Students will be evaluated based on grading policy. Learning attitude (Preparation, Enthusiasm for trainings) will be considered.
Debriefing meeting will be held and give feedback after flight trainings.

Requirements(Assignments)

Students are required to review the training in order to clear the objects.
After each training, details of the next training will be given.
Learn next topics of piloting techniques in advance, with reading the text "Pilot's Operating Handbook" thoroughly.
・Preparation : Define flight plans before each training and prioritize the items. Imagine how to work out those preparations in practical training. 1.5 hours of preparation is required. Please organize the knowledge in notebooks.
・Review : Review the training, issues and instructor’s advice. Study appropriate solution and learn the topics. Review and organize the knowledge in notebooks (1.5 hours).

Note

“Flight Training for Private Pilot 1,2 and 3” has to be completed before taking this course.
