Course Description

In this seminar, students will learn about the UN Decade of Family Farming through text reading and rural surveys. Through this, you will learn DP1, 2, and 3 of the Diploma Policy. At the same time, we aim to acquire information gathering skills and presentation skills.

Course Objectives

Be able to explain the background of the United Nations Decade of Family Farming.
Be able to explain the significance of the United Nations Decade of Family Farming.
Be able to explain how the United Nations Decade of Family Agriculture is being implemented in Japan and abroad.
Be able to share your thoughts on world agricultural production and family farming.

Grading Policy

Participation in each discussion (60%), report presentation (20%), final report (20%)
