Course Description

This course starts with acquiring basic knowledge and actual management of nonprofit organizations such as NPOs and NGOs. Based on those knowledge, students will learn from concrete examples how NPOs and NGOs are established and played a role in Japanese society. If arrangement can be made, lectures and workshops on NPOs and NGOs activities will be scheduled twice by inviting external lecturers. In this course, you will acquire knowledge and attitudes on the policy (degree of diploma policy) DP2, especially of the Department of Regional Economics.

Course Objectives

You can explain the outline of NPOs and NGOs in the community in Japan and the role in society while giving concrete examples.
