Course Description

Based on the results of "Life Design Seminar I", Each student participating in the seminar works on the following three things. First, each student learn how to study at university. Second, each student acquire the habit of using facilities (libraries, computers, etc.) that support intellectual activities such as learning and research. Filally, each student improve their ability to do a series of activities required to summarize and express their views.

Course Objectives

Although it overlaps with what is described in course description, the goals to be achieved in this seminar are summarized in three point. First point is to learn how to study at university. Second point is to acquire the habits of using facilities that support intellectual activities. Third point is to improve the ability to express their views and opinions.

Grading Policy

Grades for each registrant are decided on the level of the term paper submitted at the end of this seminar.

Requirements(Assignments)

Each session of the seminar basically consists of group work related to report writing. Therefore, please prepare for the group work. For example,
-Read the literature on the problem the group are working on and put together the contents.
-Perform a survey on the problems you are assigned by the group.
And what you need to review
-To organize the comments made during the group work.
-At the end of the seminar, based on the accumulated materials, put together the results that you have worked on in the term paper.
