Course Description

　　Elementary education is the educational stage conducted when people are in (early) childhood and plays a crucial role which dictate children’s subsequent life-course. Therefore, teachers in elementary education are required to be conscious of the crucial role and to have clear vision about the following: What is elementary education? What should be done in elementary education? What is able to be done in elementary education?
　　In this lecture, we aim to acquire the clear vision through learning various knowledge and issues which contain elementary education’s principles, institutions, history, problems, and its solutions etc.
